Match construction to the sanding task

VD offers paper, film and mesh formats with model-specific backing and attachment options. Compare the construction before comparing grit alone. Mineral, flexibility, available dimensions and hole pattern affect contact and integration with the existing sanding tool.

Confirm the complete tool interface

Send tool and backing-pad dimensions, attachment, extraction configuration, wet or dry method, workpiece material and starting defects. Align the selected abrasive with the support pad and extraction system. Mesh construction does not by itself prove dust-free operation or a quantified improvement.

When another series fits better

Compare SA for hand sanding on tight contours and SP for localized coating repair. Custom roll services are configuration enquiries, not stocked product grades. Imported ST products retain their own manufacturer identity.

Grit designation and standards

Grit numbers must be read with their grading system. FEPA uses P designations for coated-abrasive grains; a plain number or a similar ANSI/JIS designation is not sufficient evidence of equivalence. The factory catalogue does not confirm a grading standard for every model. Ask GUOWIN to confirm the applicable designation before substituting products. FEPA
