Spot-Repair Discs
Local paint-defect repair and fine finishing.
Choose a product to view its abrasive, grit, dimensions, backing and attachment specifications.
Local coating repair
Use this series to investigate small coating defects and fine scratch refinement. L468 and A466 are separate constructions: compare their mineral, backing, grade and format on the individual product pages before selecting a trial. A small repair area does not make an aggressive abrasive safe for a thin coating.
Selection inputs
Share coating type, defect depth, repair diameter, wet or dry process and the following polishing step. Start with a grade that removes the actual defect while leaving a scratch pattern the next stage can refine. Confirm available dimensions and attachment from the selected model rather than assuming all spot-repair products use the same interface.
Boundary with adjacent series
For broader tool-based sanding, compare VD formats and extraction options. For manual contour contact, compare SA sponge constructions. Spot repair still requires a complete finishing sequence; these abrasives alone do not guarantee final gloss.
Grit designation and standards
Grit numbers must be read with their grading system. FEPA uses P designations for coated-abrasive grains; a plain number or a similar ANSI/JIS designation is not sufficient evidence of equivalence. The factory catalogue does not confirm a grading standard for every model. Ask GUOWIN to confirm the applicable designation before substituting products. FEPA
